Open International Training | KMTS – Karate. More than Sport! 10-11.10.26
The event served as the concluding in-person gathering of the international project, bringing together project partners, coaches, and young athletes from different countries to combine karate practice with personal growth, social inclusion, and health.
Throughout the meeting, technical karate training sessions were held alongside practical and theoretical workshops focused on:
- Psychological aspects and well-being: Stress management, motivation in sports, and mental training for young athletes.
- Inclusion and accessibility: Strategies for engaging vulnerable groups and young people with fewer opportunities, fostering welcoming and supportive training environments.
- Educational tools: The presentation of digital resources and online tools designed to support coaches and sports organizations.
Additionally, the initiative facilitated cross-border collaboration and the exchange of experiences, highlighting karate as a powerful tool to promote equal opportunities, confidence, mutual respect, and social integration. As part of the follow-up activities, interviews with the trainers were recorded to be used in the production of project videos and promotional materials.
