Online mid-term steering committee meeting | KMTS – Karate. More than Sport! 30.03.26
The meeting served as a coordination session among project partners to review the development of the Karate Programme modules and ensure alignment across all contributions. Each partner presented the progress of their assigned modules, which focus on key topics such as inclusion in sport, mental training, motivation, stress management, and cooperation between sports organisations. The modules are largely based on practical coaching experience and aim to provide applicable tools for working with young athletes.
Discussions highlighted the importance of maintaining a consistent structure and approach across all modules, especially as they are being developed in multiple languages and will later form a single, unified programme. Overall, the modules are in an advanced stage, with most content close to completion.
The meeting also addressed upcoming project steps, confirming that the programme will be used as a foundation for further activities, including the development of an online educational tool and future training initiatives. Additionally, partners agreed on final adjustments to the modules, including the integration of short evaluation tests to support the learning process.
The session concluded with a shared understanding of the next steps, as partners move toward finalising the materials and preparing them for the next phase of the project.
